The main task of education in the Internal Security program is to offer teaching that contributes to the development of students. Equipped with knowledge, skills, and social competencies, they are prepared to work in institutions focused on taking actions to satisfy security needs at both individual and community levels, as well as on a national scale. Thanks to the practical nature of the studies, manifested in the involvement of practitioners in the teaching process, students acquire relevant practical skills and are better prepared for professional work.

The goal of education in this program is to prepare qualified professionals with expertise in the field of internal security.

General educational objectives within the program can be formulated as follows:

• In the knowledge domain: Students should acquire basic interdisciplinary knowledge enabling them to understand the causes, mechanisms, and conditions of security.
• In the skills domain: Students should develop the skills to identify, analyze, and explain phenomena influencing security threats at the local, national, and international levels, as well as individual and group levels. They should also be prepared to correctly use legal norms and ethical principles, creating strategies conducive to solving security problems and taking action for security, utilizing theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
• In the social and professional competencies domain: Students should be prepared to solve practical problems in the field of internal security by fostering an open attitude to cooperation and group work. Additionally, they should develop qualities necessary for professional work.
