Study Description
The healthcare system in Poland is a combination of institutions and individuals working within them, with the task of not only providing healthcare to the population but also taking care of the physical and mental well-being of every individual.
Studies in Nursing allow individuals to join the profession, which enjoys one of the highest levels of trust among society. These studies are a response to the growing demand for specialized medical personnel.
Education in this field takes into account the tradition and changes occurring in the healthcare system and is aligned with the education process and nursing practice in all European Union countries.
The educational program is focused on acquiring qualifications and competencies necessary for practicing the profession of a nurse. Upon completion of the studies, the student is prepared to independently practice the profession in accordance with general and professional ethics, with a particular emphasis on respecting the patient's rights. They have the ability to collaborate with professionals to ensure care for the individual and their family, as well as perform preventive, diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services.

A graduate of the nursing program will receive a professional bachelor's degree in nursing.
The diploma obtained by the graduate qualifies them to work in public and private healthcare facilities in all European Union countries, health protection institutions, care and nursing facilities, sheltered employment, social care, primary healthcare, as well as in community and family nursing teams, sanatoriums, and palliative-hospice care centers.
Graduates of this program can also start their own business in the field of medical-nursing services, preventive counseling, and medical education.
A graduate can apply for admission to second-cycle studies and postgraduate studies.
